Who we are
-
I’m an economist with over eight years of experience in public policy, applied research, and economic consulting. Before founding Vera Economics, I worked at PwC, the Centre for International Economics, and Polis Partners, where I provided economic analysis for government departments, NGOs, and multilateral organisations.
I hold a Master of International and Development Economics from the Crawford School at ANU, where my research utilised HILDA panel data and econometric techniques to assess the impact of the NDIS.
I specialise in cost–benefit analysis, regulatory impact evaluation, and economic modelling, utilising tools such as R, Alteryx and Excel. I am comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and regularly employ methods such as Difference-in-Differences, logit and probit modelling, panel regression, and instrumental variables.
My work has spanned social infrastructure, sport, transport, disability, education, and family services.
I enjoy collaborating with consultancies and policy professionals to deliver technical input, clear analysis, and work that supports sound, evidence-based decisions.
I am available for subcontracting, technical input, or independent engagements.
